Rescued Dogs. . . Happy Endings!

My
dear "Old Man"
Chewie is a pound rescued Rottweiler cross. He was severly
beaten, dumped, fearful, and labeled "un-adoptable"
when we picked him up from the canine "death row"
where he was to be put down the next day. He was just
over a year old then. It took over a year to gain his
trust back, and in the process we formed such a bond there
was no question he had found his forever home. Now my
"Old Man" as I call him is 8, and is the most
loyal and wonderful dog I have ever had. He is constantly
by my side, the sweetest dog ever, but if he thinks I
am being threatened he will be right there in a heartbeat
to take care of me. I couldn't ask for a better companion.

"Sam"
Sam was just over a year old when we rescued him from
the pound. Our best guess is he is an English Mastiff
x (Fila?). Whatever he is, all 220+ pounds of big black
lovable devoted slobbery dog are here to stay. Sam actually
has quite a funny story, including earning himself the
nickname "wedgie-dog"! Check out more pix

"Tank"
Tank is a bullmastiff who was dumped at the pound as a pup because her family didn't want to pocket the expense of her medical care. After recovering from her major nasal/sinus cavity infection while with us, she has been adopted by a wonderful family and is the light of their lives!

who's family needed to find
a loving home to place him in. He has been adopted and hapily
placed with a forever home.

"D"
D is a 4 yr old male Cane Corso who needed to find a new home due to allergies in his family. A well mannered, loving, and very devoted house dog, D found a great new family and has been adopted!

Bella is a spayed female Cane Corso mix,
who was in need of a new family to love. She has been adopted and hapily
placed with a forever home.

who's family is needing to find
a loving home to place him in. He has been adopted and hapily
placed with a forever home.

Sicily
is a female Cane Corso that was in need of a new family
as her family is no longer able to take care of her
the way they wanted to. They loved Sicily and only wanted
the VERY BEST for her! She has been adopted and hapily
placed with a forever home.

"Kaptain" &
"Baby Girl"
"Kaptain"
& "Baby Girl" are 4 year old St. Bernards.
They were kept in a tiny bedroom-size dirt backyard, bred
repeatedly, then abandoned & left to fend for themselves
when their owner forclosed on his home. When we picked
them up they were severly underweight and weak, wandering
the streets trying to find food. They were starving and
the neighbors were threatening to shoot them. These two
have sweet temperaments through it all, and deserve a
loving retirement home to be happy in. Both have been
hapily placed thru the help of Colorado St Bernard rescue.
