Adopt a Friend . . . For Life!

Consider allowing a rescued Cane Corso to "Adopt" YOU ...
They all deserve a second chance & a good home!

These are the faces of loving and loyal dogs, faithfully dedicated to being a friend, a partner, a defender, a companion … and left without their family. Yes, they look confused, sad, and unsure. Yet behind these sad faces wait wonderful dogs who want nothing more than a leader to devote their lives to. Let me try to tell you of the love and loyalty you will receive from a rescue. The gratitude for a stable home and a better life, from one who has lived on the other side, is like nothing you will ever experience from a dog that has always had it good. Open your home and heart to a rescue in need, and your generosity will be repaid a thousand times over with unmatched devotion. You will share their joy with every happy wag of a tail, every sigh of contentment, and every time those large grateful eyes look into yours and bless you for the second chance you provided.

If you are interested in adopting an available Corso, please fill out our Adoption Application to inquire about an available Cane Corso, or simply join our Rescue Notification List to receive an e-mail notification as new rescues become available. If you have a Corso in need of a home, contact us and we will be happy to list it here for you.

If you would like to help out and offer a home or financial assistance to a Cane Corso in need, please also contact us. You can provide financial help by sponsoring a current rescue, or simply by making your online purchases thru our affiliate program links.

While we focus on Cane Corso rescue, we can't close our doors to other breeds in bad situations. We often have assorted dogs of various breeds and sizes in need of loving homes, as well as Cane Corso Mastiffs. If you are intrested in our breed specific rescue for Italian Greyhounds, or our non breed specific About Time Rescue, please see our individual rescue pages for each site. You might just find your new best friend!

"Emmy Lou"
Cane Corso Female, 5 Years, Brindle

"Emmy Lou" is a 5 year old Cane Corso female. She has a gorgeous black brindle coat, and weighs about 80 lbs. Emmy Lou loves kids, is a great family dog, and is spayed and current on vaccinations. She will be vet checked and heartworm tested before going home. Emmy Lou is looking for a new family in a home with no cats or chickens (they are just too tempting for her), and has lots of love to share!
Emmy Lou is currently with Healing Hearts Rescue in North Carolina. Please contact Jeri directly for adoption inquiries at: JeriArledge@aol.com or 828-460-3190.

"Silly"
Cane Corso Female, 1.5 Years, Brindle

Silly has been Adopted!

"Silly" is a sweet 1.5 yr old Cane Corso female who's previous family didn't have time for her. She is a healthy, alert girl, current on vaccinations and healthcare, will be spayed before going home, and currently weighs about 65 lbs. She is now on a high-protein diet and we expect she will gain about 10-15 lbs to be at her ideal weight. She does fine with children and small dogs. She can be defensive over her food with other large dogs (should be fed alone), but has never shown a sign of food agression with people. Anyone can feed her, pet her while eating, or even take food from her bowl or take a beef bone from her while she is eating it. She rides well in the car, loves to be a house-dog, is leash trained and crate trained, and she is extremely sweet and well mannered. Temperament is very sweet, loving, affectionate, friendly. She adores attention and wants nothing more than to please you. Very smart, intelligent, and well mannered. She is a little shy with new people, but not skittish. We can take her out in completely new situations (to a pet-store etc) and she will easily follow us around, and will allow strangers to approach and pet her with no problems. She is a bit too shy to approach them on her own to ask for attention, but at the same time she is not afraid and skittish enough that she will try to avoid them or escape. Silly can be somewhat initially shy with new folks she does not know, but she is very affectionate, loving, and eager to please. She will bond quickly with a new family and settle right in. She is a wonderful young Cane Corso who deserves an equally wonderful home.

"Guinness"
Cane Corso Female, 4 Years, 90 lbs, Brindle

Guinness has been Adopted!

"Guinness" is a loving 4 yr old female who is with us due to a divorce, and in search of her forever home. She is healthy, current on vaccinations and healthcare, and is spayed. Good with children and small dogs, she rides well in the car, is leash trained, well mannered, and although initially shy with folks she does not know she will bond quickly and settle right in. She is a wonderful Corso who deserves an equally wonderful home.

"Fang"
Mastiff Male, 3 Years Old, Blue Brindle

Fang has been Adopted!

"Fang" is a striking Mastiff male, just three years old. He has a gorgeous blue brindle coat with a white spot on his chest, a little white on his toes, natural ears and a docked tail, weighing 115 lbs. Fang's head type and temperament make him a certain Neapolitan Mastiff, but his tighter skin, and body allow for possible influence of another breed, perhaps a Cane Corso Italian Mastiff in the mix too.

Fang has been shuffled thru a number of homes that did not understand a mastiff's needs, and has been in protective custody due to poor care/abuse twice already in his short life before coming into our rescue. Sadly, no-one has ever taken the time to even train him to walk on a leash. He arrived a tad underweight and covered with an old dead dull hair coat in horrible condition. Fang is a gorgeous dog, very well built, nice conformation and a beautiful head without a lot of loose skin or droopy eyes - he is a very striking fellow. At just three years old he is past his puppy stage, settled down and ready to focus and learn some doggie manners and obedience, and has his whole life ahead of him. He is a very happy, energetic guy, and will bond quickly to a new family.

"Olivia"
Mastiff Female, 1 Year Old, Black

Olivia has been Adopted!

"Olivia" is a gorgeous Mastiff female, just one year old. She has a stunning jet black coat with a white spot on her chest, a little white on her toes, and natural ears and tail. Olivia's head type and temperament make us think Cane Corso, but her body is tall and leggy - perhaps a Neapolitan Mastiff in there somewhere. Olivia has been thru three homes already in under a year before coming into our rescue as no-one was willing to put the time and training into teaching her basic manners.

"Ebony"
Cane Corso Female, 6 Months, Black

Ebony has been Adopted!

"Ebony" is a sweet 6 month girl who made her way to us in search of her forever home. Young, healthy, current on shots, spayed and chipped, she is a wonderful Corso who deserves an equally wonderful home.
