When we found Chinga as the foundation of our breeding program, we found perfection. We carefully planned a breeding, and eagerly waited. When the litter was born, we had high hopes for this little one right away, and as she grws she only gets better! Carbon Copy, as her name implies, is turning out to be everything we had hoped for, and then some! She literally is a copy of her amazing dam! We are very pleased to have retained her here!

1/05/2008 UPDATE
We're devastated to say that Dakota passed in her sleep last night after a week long battle with Pyometria. The Pyo infection set in after her litter was weaned, and though we had her with our vet under constant treatment, her white blood cell count skyrocketed and we were not able to pull her through. Our home and hearts are empty today.

Retained from our first breeding, "Dakota", as we call her, has come together and matured quite well. Carbon Copy is an incredible Cane Corso. Even as a young pup she constantly amazed us with her maturity and attitude. She was raised and spoiled by the Essenmacher family (Laura's parents and siblings). It only took her a week to win everyone over completely. They are still amazed by how smart and mature she is! Dakota is a very high drive Corso. In temperament, she is the ideal of what we strive to produce. Dakota is extremly protective of her yard and family, perfectly trustworthy and gentle with children, and a patient and careful "babysitter" for socializing young Italian Greyhound puppies (as you will see in our gallery).

Carbon Copy is an outstanding example of the Cane Corso breed in every way:
     * Bred from incredible Italian lines
     * A perfect little replica of her amazing dam, Chinga
     * Sound, Stable, Even temperament w/ a high drive and a family frinedly balance
