Quietly
Gorgeous ...
When
we decided to begin our search for a second Cane Corso, we knew
it would be a long process - especially considering how outstanding
our first Corso (Chinga) is already! When we saw Brava though,
we had the feeling our search had finally come to an end. After
talking with Montese at Rothorm Kennels, we made the decision
to import Brava and bring her home to join our family. Importing
was a long process, but it was so very worth it! Brava has far
exceeded our hopes and expectations, and we are very excited
to have her here with us. Many thanks to Montese at Rothorm
Cane Corso for all the help importing her to us! Sadly we lost Brava to a fatal reaction to the antivenon used to treat a rattlesnake bite. Her quirky friendly presence is much missed around here.
05/2006 UPDATE
I am sorry to say that we have lost our Brava. She was only with us for 6 short months, but in that time she became a much loved member of our family. She encountered a rattlesnake on one of our walks, was bitten, and had an almost instant and fatal reaction at the vet's office to the antivenin given to treat the bite. Her absense has left an empty spot in our family, on the couch, and in our lives. She was a bright and playful girl - always ready to have fun or mooch some loving and attention.
She will always be fondly remembered, and is very missed.

Brava
is a very alert dog. She is incredibly smart, very attentive
to all that goes on around her, and a joy to live with! She
learns fast - I have only to make her understand what we want,
and she's ready to move on to the next new thing. Brava has
a stable temperament, she is accepting of introduced strangers,
loves children, and my little dogs use her for a pillow! Her
build is beautiful, she has a lean & sleek yet well-muscled
body, and a floating gait that turns heads. She loves to travel
with us (choosing to ride right between the two front seats)
and has a quietly graceful presence that draws admiring attention
wherever we go.
A shout of “brava!” is commonly used in expressing
approval of a woman, or praising a female performer. A very
fitting name for such an outstanding dog - she couldn't be named
better!
Brava
is an gorgeous example of the Cane Corso breed:
* Bred from incredible Italian
lines
* Boasts very strong conformation
- consistent to the Italian standard
* Sound, Stable, Even "Family-Friendly"
temperament.
* Health tested and passed with
flying colors!
* A wonderful companion with a
great temperament.
