Amon's Breeding Information

Amon will be available to a limited number of approved outside bitches during the 2009/2010 breeding season. Each female is considered individually, and you are welcome to contact us to discuss your needs.

2009/2010 breedings to outside bitches will have the option of live cover or cooled or frozen shipped semen.

Breeding fees will include a $500 booking fee.

Amon's breeding book will be filled on a first come-first served basis and a bitch will only be added to the book when a signed copy of the breeding contract is received and the booking fee is paid in full.

Bitch owners must provide a current veterinary certificate of clear Brucellosis test (for live cover), and breeding fees must be paid in full, or breeding agrememt reached and signed, before any semen is shipped or breeding is done.

Please respect the following when enquiring for a stud service:

•   Contact us as soon as you have thought of using Amon on your female for breeding purposes. Advise us of the approximate time of her next season, as the earlier we know the better, then we are organised before she is due to visit us. We are not a full time stud complex and as much as we like to please everyone, we may have from time to time some important prior engagements that cannot be changed. We appreciate your co-operation!

•   Swab test results may be required at the time of mating. Health of your bitch, our stud and future litters are of utmost importance.

•   Artificial Inseminations are carried out only on owner's discretion and expense. We support natural matings, but if all else fails we will contact the owner for discussion on further options.

•   All Fees (Stud & Handling) are due for payment at the time of mating. Repeat services, in the case of missing a conception, is available to the same sire free of charge with any female owned by the same owner. Any medical expenses occurring while visiting us are the responsibility of the owner of the female.

•   Frozen AI enquiries are welcome from anywhere in world. We have fully qualified export veterinarians at close proximity to us, and two of them are well known AI/fertility experts.
